Funded hours, consumables, notice periods and the things that catch families out. Ask the office anything this does not answer.
We take the 15 and 30 hour entitlements for eligible families. Funded hours cover the childcare itself; the meals, nappies and trips that sit alongside them are charged as a daily consumables fee of £6.50. We will work out your actual monthly bill with you before you accept a place, on paper, with the funding already taken off.
Yes. Thirty funded hours across 38 term-time weeks can be stretched to roughly 22 hours a week across all 51 weeks we are open. Most working families choose the stretched option; families who only need term time usually do not. Either way the total number of funded hours is the same.
All year is 51 weeks, Monday to Friday, closed only for the week between Christmas and New Year and for bank holidays. Term time is 38 weeks, following the Marbury school calendar. Term-time sessions cost a few pounds more per day because the same team is paid across fewer weeks.
Monthly in advance by standing order, on the first working day of the month, for the sessions in your agreed pattern. Invoices land on the parent portal a week before. We do not charge for the days we are closed, and we do not charge a registration fee.
Sessions are charged whether or not your child attends — the place is held and staffed either way. Two weeks of each year can be taken at half fee with a month’s notice, which covers most family holidays.
Usually, with a month’s notice and subject to space in the room. Adding a day is often possible straight away; dropping one depends on the waiting list. Ask the office and we will tell you honestly what is free.

Visits run at 9.30am and 2pm on Wednesdays, and last about half an hour. No appointment needed for the second Saturday of the month — that is our open morning. Bring your child.
