Term dates for 2026 to 2027
The full calendar for term-time places, plus the two weeks we close and the five days we do not.
These dates follow the Marbury school calendar, so brothers and sisters break up on the same day. All-year places run straight through them — this list only matters if your child is on a 38-week place.
Autumn term 2026
Tuesday 1 September to Friday 18 December. Half term: Monday 26 to Friday 30 October.
Spring term 2027
Monday 4 January to Friday 26 March. Half term: Monday 15 to Friday 19 February.
Summer term 2027
Monday 12 April to Wednesday 21 July. Half term: Monday 31 May to Friday 4 June.
When the whole nursery closes
We close from Thursday 24 December to Friday 1 January, and on bank holidays. That is the lot: 51 weeks open, and no inset days, because we are not a school.
Five training afternoons
Twice a year the nursery closes at 3pm for staff training — once in October and once in May. We give a term's notice and never charge for the hours lost. The 2026 to 2027 dates are Thursday 15 October and Thursday 13 May.
Print copies are in the entrance hall, and the calendar is on the parent portal with everything else.
